Transactional Mail Relay

Authenticated SMTP for your application, on its own reputation.

What this tier is

Application mail and human mail should not share a reputation. A newsletter mistake should not stop password resets from arriving, and a misconfigured signup form should not affect whether your sales mail lands.

The relay gives your application its own authenticated credentials and its own aligned sending identity. Delivery outcomes are logged, so when a customer says they never received the reset link you can find out whether it was accepted, deferred, or bounced, rather than guessing.

We handle

  • Relay operation, authentication, alignment, and TLS
  • Delivery logging, bounce handling, and suppression lists
  • Rate limiting and abuse protection
  • Credential issuance and rotation

You handle

  • Application-side SMTP configuration and retry behaviour
  • Message content, headers, and honouring unsubscribes
  • Not using a transactional relay for bulk marketing

How provisioning works

Operator-provisioned. We agree the sending subdomain, publish authentication records with you, and issue credentials once alignment verifies. Typical turnaround is one to two business days after DNS is in place.
