Minecraft (Paper)

Paper-based Minecraft with heap sized on purpose and backups that restore.

What this tier is

Minecraft performance problems are usually not raw CPU. They are garbage collection pauses, chunk generation storms, and one plugin doing something expensive on every tick. We size the heap deliberately, leave headroom for the operating system page cache, and read the timings report when TPS drops rather than suggesting you buy more RAM.

Plugins are your call, but we will review the list before a version upgrade and tell you which ones are abandoned. Our published guides on Paper plugins and tick rate cover the same ground if you would rather run it yourself.

What is included

  • Paper server on a current supported release
  • JVM heap and garbage collection flags tuned to the allocation
  • World snapshots every six hours, fourteen-day retention
  • Public hostname on our domain, or a CNAME onto yours
  • File and console access for plugin and configuration management
  • Version upgrades applied in a window you agree, with a snapshot first
  • Timings and crash log review as part of support

Typical use cases

  • A community server past the point where a home connection copes
  • A plugin-heavy survival or minigame server needing stable TPS
  • A server that needs to survive a version upgrade without losing the world
  • A Discord community that wants one bill and one person to ask

Responsibility split

Written down so there is no argument about it later.

We handle

  • Server process, restarts, JVM tuning, and resource limits
  • Snapshots, retention, and performing restores
  • Version upgrades in an agreed window
  • Networking, hostname, and DDoS-resistant edge routing

You handle

  • Plugin selection, configuration, and permissions
  • In-game moderation and community rules
  • Deciding how much progress a rollback is allowed to cost

How provisioning works

Operator-provisioned. After payment we confirm the server name, version, and any world upload, then hand over connection details and console access. Typical turnaround is same or next business day.
