A dedicated Valheim world that survives the patch cycle.
Valheim is modest on resources and unforgiving about update timing. A server that auto-updates mid-session drops everyone, and a modded server that auto-updates can lose compatibility until every mod author catches up.
We hold updates until you say go, snapshot the world first, and keep the previous build available so a rollback is a decision rather than an archaeology project. World and character data are snapshotted on a schedule independent of the update cycle.

Written down so there is no argument about it later.
